General tasks

This position performs a multitude of tasks associated with the efficient running of the manufacturing process. They are the eyes and ears closest to the manufacturing process providing feedback to the Control Room Operators and Shift Supervisors on their area of the manufacturing process. Tasks include, but are not limited to, the movement of supplies and material, the loading and unloading of supplies and finished goods and insuring the overall smooth operation of manufacturing equipment. These positions are critical to performing the hands on functions which allow the equipment to function.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Mechanical aptitude
• Minimum 3 year previous experience in plant operations or maintenance
• Previous certification in the operation of heavy mobile / industrial equipment
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Demonstrated record of safety in prior employment
• Ability to get MSHA experienced miner certification
