General tasks

This position is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative testing of “in process” materials and finished goods. The Quality Control department aids the production process through product control, verification procedures, organization and compliance, as well as inspection of finished goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Geology…) preferred
• 2 year’s prior production/manufacturing experience as a QA / QC lab tech
• Kaolin laboratory experience preferred
• ISO experience preferred
• The ability to compute: rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar/line graphs is required
• Understanding of statistics preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Must be proficient with Excel and Word
