General tasks

Reporting to the Controller, this position supports the Finance, Operations and Supply Chain departments. The position is responsible for providing financial information by maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing reports, assisting with budgets and month end closing. The work is highly transactional in nature and requires great attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 4 year College Degree in Accounting or Finance; required
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing / plant environment
• 2+ years’ experience in Cost Accounting
• Hands-on experience with month end, quarter end, and year end close
• Deadline driven with strong research, analysis, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Prior experience working with an ERP system; preferred
